Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist for Building with Nature (BwN) Project

Woro graduated from the English Education Department, Yogyakarta State University and received her Masters degree from James Cook University, Australia in the field of Development Practice. In 2015 Woro joined as a socio-economic researcher to assess the feasibility of several degraded Indonesian mangrove forests. Woro acted as the Knowledge Management Coordinator in the Restoring Coastal Livelihood (RCL) program funded by CIDA and Oxfam GB and as the Coastal Field School (CFS) Program Manager for the Building with Nature program that runs in Demak. During her time at the Blue Forests, Woro developed and facilitated many environmental education programs.
