Parameter dalam sistem SEES bersifat saling membutuhkan satu sama lain, dengan mekanisme feedback aktif antara satu sama lain, konsep ini menekankan perspektif \u2018manusia-di-alam\u2019 atau <em>\u2018humans-in-nature\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Kapasitas adaptif\/Kemampuan beradaptasi &#8211; adalah kapasitas untuk beradaptasi dan membentuk perubahan. Dalam sistem mangrove, salah satu kunci dalam beradaptasi adalah keanekaragaman hayati. Hutan mangrove yang penuh dengan keanekaragaman spesies pohon akan mampu menempati substrat baru yang tersedia dengan tingkat kesuksesan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pada tempat yang bersifat homogen. Pada saat permukaan laut pasang dan adanya faktor perubahan iklim, kemampuan mangrove untuk beradaptasi terhadap perubahan lanskap pesisir laut boleh jadi memiliki peluang yang lebih besar dari sebelumnya.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam sistem sosial-ekologis, kemampuan beradaptasi setara dengan kapasitas seorang manusia untuk bertahan. puluhan tahun, selama:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>rezim hidrologinya tidak terganggu, dan<\/li>\n<li>tersedia propagul spesies pionir untuk mencapai suksesi sekunder alami.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jika salah satu atau kedua syarat ini tidak terpenuhi, intervensi manusia mungkin diperlukan. Inilah yang dikenal sebagai rehabilitasi mangrove.<\/p>\n<p>Karena hutan mangrove dapat pulih tanpa penanaman, sebaiknya gangguan hidrologis terhadap pasang surut dan drainase air laut yang alami ditangani terlebih dahulu sebelum mempertimbangkan penanaman mangrove. Sayangnya, sebagian besar proyek rehabilitasi mangrove di dunia langsung menanam mangrove, yaitu dengan menyemai bibit di pembibitan lalu menanamnya di hamparan lumpur, sebelum faktor-faktor penyebab gangguan dikaji. Dilaporkan bahwa 90-99% upaya penanaman mangrove gagal merehabilitasi hutan mangrove.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk memperbaiki praktik yang buruk dan tidak perlu ini, Lewis III dan Marshall (1997) mengembangkan lima langkah berikut untuk mencapai restorasi mangrove yang berhasil:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Memahami autekologi (ekologi masing-masing spesies) dari seluruh spesies mangrove asli di lokasi rehabilitasi; khususnya pola reproduksi, sebaran propagul (buah, biji, dan embrio mangrove), serta keberhasilan pembentukan anakan.<\/li>\n<li>Memahami pola hidrologi normal yang mengendalikan sebaran, keberhasilan pembentukan, dan pertumbuhan spesies mangrove yang menjadi sasaran.<\/li>\n<li>Menilai perubahan-perubahan pada lingkungan mangrove asli yang saat ini menghambat suksesi sekunder alami.<\/li>\n<li>Merancang program rehabilitasi untuk memulihkan hidrologi yang sesuai dan, jika memungkinkan, memanfaatkan rekrutmen propagul mangrove sukarela (alami) untuk pembentukan tegakan.<\/li>\n<li>Hanya melakukan penanaman propagul, anakan yang dikumpulkan, atau bibit budidaya setelah dipastikan (melalui langkah 1-4) bahwa rekrutmen alami tidak akan menghasilkan jumlah anakan yang berhasil tumbuh, laju stabilisasi, atau laju pertumbuhan anakan muda sesuai sasaran proyek restorasi.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Kelima langkah ini merupakan proses penilaian biofisik, perencanaan, dan pelaksanaan yang kini dikenal di kalangan praktisi sebagai restorasi atau rehabilitasi mangrove ekologis (Ecological Mangrove Restoration\/Rehabilitation, EMR).<\/p>\n<p>Penting juga diketahui bahwa sebagian besar upaya rehabilitasi mangrove gagal karena faktor sosial. Dengan kata lain, manusia sering kali tidak sungguh-sungguh ingin mengembalikan mangrove ke tempat semestinya, biasanya karena adanya persaingan penggunaan lahan atau kepentingan keuntungan ekonomi pribadi. Jauh lebih banyak perhatian perlu diberikan untuk menyelesaikan persoalan sosial dan ekonomi sebelum rehabilitasi mangrove dapat berhasil.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div Model ini didasarkan pada penelitian tentang bagaimana orang-orang mengatur ide-ide mereka (pemetaan kognitif), bagaimanan orang-orang memecahkan masalah, dan bagaimana pendidik dapat menggunakan informasi ini untuk membentuk sebuah sistem pendidikan yang lebih relevan dan bermakna. Keberhasilan tertinggi diukur dari perubahan nilai-nilai yang terjadi pada target kelompok, dampak peningkatan kesehatan ekosistem mangrove, dan dampak peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat pesisir secara tidak langsung.<\/p>\n<p>Langkah yang diambil secara efektif telah dipengaruhi oleh para pendidik lingkungan hidup yang mencari cara untuk mengedukasi dan memberdayakan masyarakat terhadap lingkungannya sendiri, dan ketertarikan para peneliti pendidikan terhadap strategi pemecahan masalah dalam konteks yang mengedukasi. Seorang pendidik, John Dewey, adalah pelopor dalam metode pemikiran reflektif dan meyakini bahwa sebuah pemikiran tidak bisa dipisahkan dari tindakan (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldcat.org\/title\/experience-and-education\/oclc\/680654074\">Dewey, 1963<\/a>). Beliau berpikir bahwa sekolah harus melibatkan para muridnya dalam dunia nyata untuk membuat pendidikan menjadi lebih bermakna.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div Juga memastikan bahwa keseimbangan, kesetaraan dan keadilan bisa terpenuhi. Blue Forests meyakini bahwa dengan beragamnya penghidupan dan pilihan mata pencaharian di komunitas bisa mendorong sistem lebih resilience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prinsip ini yang menggerakkan\u00a0 pengembangan livelihood di tingkat tapak didekati melalui riset aksi partisipatif.
