Akhzan earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Marine and Fisheries Faculty, Hasanuddin University. Akhzan’s initial involvement at Blue Forests was as a volunteer. Since then, Akhzan appointed as the Hydrology Consultant and then Project Officer for the Coastal Ecosystem Resilience program in Tanakeke Islands, South Sulawesi. Akhzan works on ecological assessment tasks in various parts of Indonesia such as Luwu, Sumbawa, Riau, Maluku, Kendari, Balikpapan and Palembang. In addition to mastering the Ecological Mangrove Restoration (EMR) method, Akhzan is also a drone pilot expert.
