I came to Blue Forests because I wanted a more in-depth/boots on the ground experience in Indonesia. And I am really happy that I had this experience. Blue Forests works with a very cohesive team and they work really hard to deliver a very good standard of work. Although I spent just six weeks here I am really happy.

Blue Forests is a fantastic place to learn about nature, conservation, and the environment. This place is a teacher for most of the experience and knowledge that I have gained. All Blue Forests activities are excellent, organized, and professional. I learned a lot from the Blue Forests, from the people who work in it, who have become friends and family.

I joined as a volunteer in 2016. It was the first time I worked while learned about the knowledge that I got in the class, and also I am very happy because it suits my hobbies who like an adventure. Working while adventuring in the field was not easy but very fun.

I joined the CER (Coastal Ecosystem Resilience) program conducted at Tanakeke Island, Takalar. During the activities that are run by Blue Forests, I learned a lot about various management systems, especially in the mangrove areas, and also, the system approach to human resource development for island communities in Indonesia.

I'm glad I was part of the Blue Forests Foundation. I learned to understand the culture of coastal communities, as well as knowing ways to keep the environment sustainable. Skincare can be expensive, but the price we have to pay is higher if we don't care about the stability of the ecosystem chain

When I was volunteering at the Blue Forests Foundation, I gained many valuable experiences, including mangrove conservation knowledge, which is very useful. I also have an unforgettable moment by learning and working with the coastal communities of Tanakeke Island. Of course, I made new friends, too, who are very inspiring. I am very fortunate to be part of Blue Forests.
