Communication and Governance Officer

Wahyudin, or better known as Opu, was born in Pinrang, South Sulawesi and graduated from the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University. During his college years, Opu wrote articles for a local magazine and was also actively involved as a Community Facilitator in the Tanakeke coastal community empowerment project. Since 2015, Opu officially joined the Blue Forests as a Social Economic Field Staff in the USAID-LESTARI program for the placement of Asmat Regency, Papua. In 2017, Opu was appointed as the Mangrove Co-management Coordinator for activities at Asmat. Opu is also an active blogger and his writing can be read at https://www.utarakan.net/
