IUCN supports the Mangrove Restoration Opportunity Assessment activity in 2017 – 2018 in Pohuwato, Gorontalo. This mangrove restoration opportunity assessment activity covers ecological, social, economic aspects and the involvement of related parties.
From 2002 to 2005, IUCN together with ICCO supported fishermen livelihood exchange activities and conducted mangrove rehabilitation approaches in five Southeast Asian countries (Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia)
