Mimika Unit VI Protected Forest Management Unit (KPHL) is a forest area management unit that has an operational area of 273,420 hectares covering three districts (Mimika, Dogiyai, and Deiyai) under the coordination of the Papua Provincial Forestry Office and the Directorate General of PDHL KLHK (MoEF).
The collaboration with Mimika Unit VI KPHL was carried out in the implementation of the USAID Lestari program in Mimika. This collaboration helped KPHL VI in completing forest management planning documents and increasing staff capacity
