Sahabat Bambu together with Environmental Bamboo Foundation (Yayasan Bambu Lestari) supported the bamboo field school activities which lead to the development of the medium-scale bamboo industry. This activity successfully helped to improve the economy of bamboo farmers in several cities in Central Java.
Until now, bamboo farmers around Central Java continue to collaborate with Bambubos.
